Looks like I am going to be looking for a while... and my odds are in the better range. Oh well. I'm still going to look for someone around my own age.

As an older man, I don't expect women to be fighting over me (would be nice but) It really all comes down to what a person wants and is happy with. There are people for every age out there you just have to work to find them. “For a moment, nothing happened. Then, after a second or so, nothing continued to happen.” ― Douglas Adams, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Much like this site Visit my Blog for my adventures.

I've read their research articles whether I've been on the market or not. They're interesting stuff. And this one suggests that you probably would do better playing the cougar game. Of course there are going to be a lot of young guys just looking for a place to stick their junk, but not all guys are like that, including young guys. It just takes extra screening effort to find the ones who are interested in a good time for both, not just themselves. Discarding everyone who can't be bothered to spell-check is a good starting point. Suggesting that they don't even get their junk fondled until they've done what they need to do with their tongue and lips, hands, or toys might be a useful screening strategy too. One thing about Cupid is that they've changed their e-mail model. (I got their e-mail notification about the change.) Now no one sees any attempts at contacts unless the recipient has first given the sender a "like", or unless the sender is a paid user. That may have interesting consequences for a cougar; it would limit responses to young guys who are actually going through older women's profiles and clicking a lot of "like" buttons. It's hard to guess whether that means the guys who see first-contact messages are the kind of guys a cougar wants to message, or guys who are clicking "like" everywhere because they'll go anywhere.

I totally get your point... and yes can be very disappointing, but I do believe in unicorns... sadly it takes a LOT of horny toads to ever produce one unicorn
